Humanitarians are purpose-driven individuals who seek to promote the human welfare and happiness of others and alleviate suffering. Whether you’re in public service, an aid worker on mission in the field, a first-responder, or a member of the helping professions - you are a humanitarian. Sometimes amidst the fast-paced chaos of humanitarian work - living and working in high stress/high threat locations, a lack of meaningful social support, long working hours, and often dysfunctional team dynamics - we begin to feel emotionally drained and disconnected from the passion that used to guide us. At Roots in the Clouds we use mindfulness to help you reconnect to your passion and purpose so you can find meaning and get back to doing what you do best - serving the most vulnerable people in the world.
is to coach humanitarians and deliver mindfulness-based training to prevent burnout and
promote service, connection and thriving.
