We all have dreams - ones that define us, pilot our choices, and shape the landscape of our lives. But sometimes our dreams get lost in the noise of societal expectations and social media comparison and in time we find ourselves unhappy and unfulfilled as we try to conform to other people’s definitions of success.
Many people start the new year with resolutions for making changes that they believe will lead to greater happiness. The problem with creating goals that aren’t connected to your purpose and passion is that achieving them doesn’t matter all that much. Envisioning and engineering goals with soul allows us to define success on our terms and find authentic connection to ourselves and the things that bring us lasting joy.
Intention boards are a powerful visualization tool that put your soul on the agenda and use intuition and creativity to guide you towards what is most important to you in this moment, and plant the seeds for the actions that will get you there. This workshop will use elements of coaching and collage-making to help you identify your intentions and corresponding actions for achieving your soul goals in 2019, and provide you with a stunning visual reminder to take home with you at the end of the workshop.
How much does this workshop cost? The cost is $45 which covers all the supplies, snacks and drinks for the afternoon.
Do I need to bring anything? In addition to your sunny disposition and a desire to dig deep, you are invited to bring 3-5 of your favorite magazines and/or catalogues that you’re willing to cut up. Suggested magazines/catalogues include, but are not limited to: lifestyle magazines (e.g., Oprah, Real Simple), yoga magazines, travel magazines, fitness magazines, art magazines, cooking magazines, Pottery Barn catalogues, etc. - anything that speaks to you! If you aren’t sure what speaks to you don’t worry - I’ll have magazines available to work with. All other materials, (canvas, glue, scissors, etc) and snacks and drinks will be provided.
How many people will be in this workshop? I’m limiting this workshop to 5 people (+ me) to keep it intimate and allow for people to feel comfortable in sharing their stories and aha moments.
How soon do I have to register? That’s up to you. Registration will happen on a first come first serve basis and with only 5 spots, you may want to register sooner rather than later. The cut-off date for registration is December 12, 2018 to give me time to finalize supplies, snacks, etc.
Can you give me all the details again?
Sure! Here you go:
