healing the stories that shape how we serve

navigating the spaces between where life happens

the last few years have shattered illusions many of us held about the systems we serve.

We're living through genocides, witnessing the rollback of women's rights and LGBTQ protections, watching immigrants being villainized, and seeing families split over political beliefs. The meanness that has crept into public discourse has become normalized. We're still processing the trauma of COVID while navigating widespread social disconnection. We're witnessing violence, trauma, and suffering that feels hypernormalized—realities that many of us are experiencing differently than what we see reflected in our institutions and workplaces.

On top of carrying this collective weight, those of us working in service of others are also being pushed to our limits in unprecedented ways. We're being asked to do more with less, navigate impossible ethical dilemmas, and maintain our commitment to helping others while our own wellbeing is ignored.

beyond wellbeing, we're also coming face to face with the reality that the values reflected in the mission statements don't always match the actions of our organizations.

Many of us are feeling:

  • moral injury as we experience ethical conflicts that violate our deeply held beliefs

  • institutional betrayal by organizations that prioritize power, profit, and productivity over people

  • systemic grief from realizing the systems we've dedicated our lives to aren't broken—they're working exactly as they were designed to.

  • exhausted from fighting for change within structures designed to resist it, while also carrying the weight of everything happening around us

the fact is, we're living through an unprecedented moment that requires new ways of thinking about service, resistance, and care.

we often hear people say that our systems are broken.

but they're not broken—they're doing exactly what they were designed to do - extract, erase, and dehumanize.

In this era of polycrisis where overlapping global challenges are pushing mission-driven professionals to their breaking point, the real crisis isn't external. It's the realization that the systems we've dedicated our lives to were never designed to honor our humanity.

Our systems prioritize power, profit, and productivity over people, compliance over conscience, and performance over presence—not by accident, but by design. When we understand this truth, we can stop asking "What's wrong with me?" and start asking "How do we change the system so we can stay connected to what matters most?"

The traditional approaches to workplace well-being programs and initiatives—resilience training, self-care mandates, mindfulness programs, and burnout prevention—are often ineffective because they place the burden of healing on the individual, rather than addressing root issues of systemic harm that are impacting the collective.

we don’t need more resilience. we need more sacred resistance.

Sacred resistance is the practice of staying connected to our humanity in the face of systems designed to diminish it.

It's about choosing presence over performance, values over conditioned responses, and collective care over the illusion that individual strength can solve systemic problems.

This isn't about burning everything down or walking away from meaningful work. It's about learning to navigate these systems without letting them extract our essence, developing practices that sustain us for the long haul, and connecting with others who refuse to accept that dehumanization is the price of service.

1:1 coaching journeys

coaching journeys designed to meet you where you are in this moment of transition

Every coaching journey begins with a 90-minute intuitive planning session that combines somatic practices and oracle guidance to help you access your own inner knowing beneath all the noise of transition. This foundational session creates space to identify what's actually happening in this threshold moment, what your body and intuition are telling you about next steps, and what support you need moving forward. This approach ensures the work is primarily guided by your own wisdom and authentic knowing, with additional frameworks woven in when they support deeper transformation. Some people find this single session gives them everything they need to move forward with clarity, while others discover they want deeper support to integrate and build on those insights over time. All coaching programs also include a free 1 year subscription to /rōot/ by dimple dhabalia.

threshold planning | 1 session $500

For when you're standing at the threshold of a major change and need support to find your ground.

Transition moments often come with so much noise—all the competing voices, the "shoulds," the overwhelm of options. Beneath all that static, your deeper knowing is still there, waiting.

Using Sacred Creators oracle cards + somatic practices, this intensive serves as an intuitive planning session designed to create space to turn down the volume so you can hear what your body and intuition are telling you about this moment.

After our time together, you'll receive a personalized integration guide with your card meanings and guidance, key session insights, aligned next steps, and reflection prompts to support continued growth as you move through this threshold.

threshold session: Standalone 90-minute session via Zoom Includes a 1 year paid subscription to /rōot/ by dimple dhabalia.

Using Sacred Creators oracle cards + somatic practices, this 3-session series unfolds over 6 weeks: your initial 90-minute intuitive planning session, followed by two 45-minute integration sessions scheduled every two weeks to support your journey through this threshold moment.

After our time together, you'll receive a personalized integration guide with your card meanings and guidance, key session insights, aligned next steps, and reflection prompts to support continued growth as you build your capacity for staying present in the unknown, and honoring whatever is arising.

threshold exploration: 3 sessions over 6 weeks via zoom | session 1 - 90 minutes, sessions 2 and 3, 45 minutes each. Includes a 1 year paid subscription to /rōot/ by dimple dhabalia and a signed copy of Tell Me My Story.

threshold navigation | 6 sessions | $2250

For deep liminal space work. We'll explore not just how to tolerate uncertainty, but how to find it fertile and sacred. Whether we follow the sacred resistance story-healing framework sequentially or weave through it organically based on what you're experiencing, we'll ensure all elements are addressed over our time together.

This package includes text support between sessions when insights arise or challenges emerge in your threshold journey, helping you stay connected to your clarity during times of uncertainty.

Over the course of our time together we'll explore how systemic conditioning lives in your body, how your nervous system responds to uncertainty, and what it looks like to practice collective care while moving through transitions.

threshold navigation journey: 6 sessions over 3 months via Zoom | session 1 - 90 minutes, sessions 2- 6, 45 minutes each. Includes a 1 year paid subscription to /rōot/ by dimple dhabalia and a signed copy of Tell Me My Story.

leading through the liminal 12 sessions | $4500

For leaders ready to stand tall in the liminal and model what it looks like to make decisions from wisdom rather than fear, create space for others' uncertainty, and resist the cultural pressure to have all the answers.

In this comprehensive journey we'll use the sacred resistance story-healing framework to enhance your capacity to create psychological safety for others, address systemic harm when you witness it, and model what it looks like to lead from wholeness rather than performance.

This package includes priority email access and support for implementing threshold-honoring practices within your sphere of influence. Priority email access provides timely support for implementing threshold-honoring practices within your sphere of influence, with responses within 24-48 hours during business days.

a note about honoring financial realities in liminal spaces

Threshold moments often bring financial uncertainty—especially when leaving systems that never honored our full humanity. The courage to choose integrity over security deserves support, not additional barriers.

mutual aid commitment | I’ve chosen to offer a limited number of spots at a reduced rate each quarter for those experiencing financial hardship due to transition, systemic harm, or other circumstances. These aren’t charity—they’re mutual aid, recognizing that extractive systems often create financial vulnerability precisely when we most need support to remember who we are outside of them. The invitation here is to pay this aid forward in some way in the future when you’re in a position to do so.

For those who have recently left (or are preparing to leave) federal service or humanitarian organizations—your courage to step into the unknown rather than continue participating in systems that diminish humanity deserves to be honored.

This work recognizes that you're not just changing jobs—you're crossing a threshold between versions of yourself. The question isn't "What should I do next?" but rather "Who am I when I'm not performing for systems that were designed to extract rather than nourish?" With that in mind, I make this mutual aid commitment to those needing additional support in these challenging times:

  • threshold session: $400 (normally $500)

  • threshold exploration: $960 (normally $1200)

  • threshold navigation journey: $1,800 (normally $2250)

  • leading through the liminal: $3600 (normally $4500)

Additional reduction for very limited income available for 2 people per quarter.

If you'd like to explore mutual aid options, please fill out this form and we'll connect about what's possible.

a note about sustainability

Like most people I’m a work in prog-mess and have to be very intentional about how I use my time and energy. To ensure that I’m creating sustainability for myself, while also ensuring the best possible services to my clients, I only take a limited number of 1:1 clients at any given time. If the slots are full you’re welcome to join the waitlist for the next available slot, or consider joining one of our group coaching and collective care circles (more information below).

The point of all of this unlearning is to create better systems, cultures and communities. That starts with each of us, including me, choosing to be a part of that change.

/the space between/

Two ways to participate:

  • Bring Your Own Group: Gather 4-8 colleagues, friends, or community members for a private circle

  • Join an Existing Circle: Connect with others ready for this work in our scheduled groups. See the full list of available circles here.

The liminal isn't the absence of life. It's where life quietly reshapes itself—a fertile threshold where the next version of you is beginning to take root.

You don't need to know exactly where you're going to honor where you are. You're not failing. You're becoming.
