in the forest, when a tree is uprooted or injured, it doesn’t heal alone.
The surrounding ecosystem responds—mycelial networks, nearby roots, and interwoven canopies offer nourishment, stability, and quiet support. Slowly, in the shadow of rupture, the tree begins to heal—rooting itself again in a new way. Scarred, yes. But still alive. Still becoming.
Much of this healing happens in liminal space—between wounding and repair, between collapse and care, between uprooting and new growth.
It’s the same space so many find themselves in now.
In the wake of the dismantling of federal agencies and USAID by the current regime, the ripple effects have been felt across the country and around the world—disrupting lives, undermining decades of work, and shaking the foundation of what it means to serve the public good. For those who built careers on mission, justice, and care, this moment has left many asking:
Who am I now?
How do I hold and honor my grief?
What does service look like moving forward?
How do I find my footing in the aftermath of it all?
/the space between/ is more than a place to land.
This circle offers a grounding path for those who feel:
Uprooted
Disillusioned
Exhausted
Grief for the systems they once served
Uncertain about how to move forward without abandoning their values and themselves in the process
It’s a collective moral imagination practice—a structured way to move beyond processing what’s been lost toward actively practicing what could be.
Together we don’t just heal from institutional harm; we cultivate new capacities for navigating complexity with integrity rooted in connection and joy.
This isn't therapy. It's not coaching. It's a practice of imagining and embodying new ways of being together, especially in the aftermath of betrayal and breakdown.
You’re a current or former federal employee, public servant, humanitarian, frontline responder, social justice advocate, attorney, social worker, or non-profit professional
You’re feeling angry, fearful, betrayed, disoriented, or heartbroken by what’s happening around you and in the world
You’ve left—or are considering leaving—your role and feel unsure of what’s next
You’re carrying grief, frustration, or moral injury, institutional betrayal, and need space to unpack it all
You’re ready to work thorough your grief and root into your values to eventually move forward with clarity, courage, and care—alongside others who understand
MENTAL HEALTH DISCLAIMER
I am NOT a therapist, and this small group coaching cohort is not a substitute for therapy or professional mental health support. While gathering in community can offer therapeutic benefits, this space is designed for reflection, connection, and collective care—not clinical guidance.
If you think you need additional support right now, I encourage you to engage in this practice alongside therapy or other forms of professional care. Your well-being matters, and it's important to have the resources you need to navigate this moment with strength and support.
this is for you if:
While other circles focus on individual healing or analyzing what's broken, /the space between/ creates structured opportunities to practice collective moral imagination—the capacity to envision and embody new possibilities together.
Together in community, we’ll work to:
Navigate institutional complexity without losing your integrity
Transform moral injury into moral clarity
Practice new ways of relating that embody your values
Develop resilience rooted in authentic connection, not self-sacrifice
what makes this different
week 1: the convening | GATHER
Creating brave space for our work together. Introductions, setting intentions, establishing community agreements, and planting the seeds for collective transformation through moral imagination practice.
week 2: the naming | RUPTURE
Acknowledging what's ending, what's been lost, what's brought you to this threshold. Creating space for grief while opening toward possibility.
week 3: the unlearning | REMEMBER
Examining the stories, identities, and beliefs shaped by systems of power, politics, and paradox. Making space for moral imagination to emerge from institutional debris.
week 4: the grounding | ROOT
Untangling identity and self-worth from roles, titles, outcomes, and productivity. Re-rooting in personal values with compassion as foundation for collective practice.
week 5: the restoring | RECLAIM
Exploring the anchors and collective care that nourish us—restoring connection, safety, and the conditions for stability and joy. Practicing moral imagination around what sustainable service and authentic community can look like.
week 6: the becoming | RISE
Embodying your moral root system—ethics, values, and boundaries—and creating pathways to show up with courage, clarity, and care moving forward. Embodying collective moral imagination as we envision and practice new ways of being in service to what matters most.

what people are saying about working with dimple
Charles Slocumb | Acacia Center for Justice
Dimple created a supportive, brave space for our staff to manage their emotions effectively. The feedback from our team was overwhelmingly positive; they found her insights incredibly useful and her presentation both engaging and relatable. It was refreshing to have someone who not only understood our professional landscape but also recognized the impact it has on mental health.
