helping the helpers has always been at the heart of our work.
Care professionals support people navigating dark and painful seasons of grief, loss, caregiving, and illness. Often under-resourced and unrecognized, they show up day after day while carrying pain and grief of their own that remains hidden from the rest of the world. At Roots in the Clouds, we believe empathy is a practice and the foundation of the duty of care we owe ourselves and one another — a duty that is often extended to the people being served but not to those doing the serving.
We created the care collective, a new program that offers special rates on our empathy cards for those working in service of others, to extend that care in a small but meaningful way, because the people who care for others deserve care too. Whether you use these cards for yourself, the people you serve, your colleagues, or the people you love, this is our way of saying thank you for your service.

how it works
To join, complete the form below. We ask for your name, organization or practice name, professional title, and a professional email address. We review every application and aim to respond within one week. There is no fee to join. Our goal is to create accessibility, so if you know someone who could benefit from joining, please share the link to register.
Once verified, you'll receive your care collective codes by email — one for each quantity tier. Enter the code that matches your order size at checkout. The discount applies to every card set in your cart.
NOTE: Your codes are yours, for your own use — please do not post or share them. We will update codes seasonally and we reserve the right to revoke care collective membership and codes at any time, including if codes are shared publicly or used outside of their intended purpose.

Every application is reviewed by dimple — not an automated system. We look forward to getting to know who you are and the work you do, and also how we can best support you. Our goal is to respond within a week, but we appreciate your patience and grace along the way. If you haven’t heard back after a week has passed, please feel free to reach out to hello@rootsintheclouds.com with subject “care collective application status” and we’ll get back to you with an update.

care collective pricing is tiered by the number of card sets in your order. Upon becoming a member, you'll receive codes for each tier by email. Enter the tier code that matches your order size at checkout, and the discount will be applied to your order. Please note that discounts apply to the order subtotal and do not include shipping or tax.
